Setting: When and where does this chapter happen?
It happens on the highway, in Mrs. G's car, and the Peoria shoe store.

Jenna and Mrs. G leave Chicago and drive to Peoria. Jenna says goodbye to everything important to her: the shoe store, Opal, her family. We find out that Mrs. G's hip hurts.
Mrs. G calls the manager at the store that they are going to visit in Peoria to tell him that they are on their way. They arrive, and Jenna enters the store first. The salesman doesn't help her. Another woman, a rich woman, enters. The salesman helps her instead. Jenna stands up for herself.
When they leave the store, Mrs. G asks Jenna what she thought of the store. Jenna tells her her perspective and gives suggestions.
We meet Miles Wurlitzer, the manager of the Peoria store. Her son hired him. He's not taking good care of the store.
